An Off The Shoulder Kind Of Summer

Hey everyone, sorry this week’s post is up late, I’ve had a lot going on for my Birthday weekend. In any case, I wanted to show you all an outfit that I created that I think you will love.

For a lot of people, when they hear modest, they automatically think of being frumpy and that is so not true. I’m not really sure why most of us make that connection but we do, and we need to re-train our minds to think differently. So, this week I decided to put together something cute and trendy for summer that is still modest, yet very trendy.

This shirt was my inspiration. Off the shoulder tops are huge right now, and for good reason. They are super cute, and they keep you cool during the summer. Now, most of the off the shoulder tops are cropped, and the ones that aren’t cropped are pretty flowy. So, once I saw these high waisted shorts that are to die for, I thought they paired perfect with the top. They are so fun with the stripes in front and back and the palm leaves on the side with the pale pink to match the top. They flatter your figure, and still let you show off those toned tanned legs, but still look classy.

What is summer without espadrilles, am I right? These ones are super cute and relaxed to go with the flowy summer vibes. I loved pairing this entire outfit with golds and pinks, so I chose these stackable bracelets, hoops, and cute crossbody bag by Michael Kors. Throw that long hair up in a bun and you’re ready to take on the world. Just because your modest doesn’t mean you aren’t super cute.
