Thanksgiving Outfit Idea For Fall & Winter Weather

Hey everyone, Thanksgiving is literally right around the corner, like less than three days away. I don't know about you, but I always need an idea for what I'm going to wear to dinner. Some people go to four or more places during the holidays, and some, like me only go to one. Regardless of how many place you go, you want to be both cute and comfortable, especially after eating so much yummy food.

For my thanksgiving, I'll be going to my moms for dinner, and then afterwards to the movies with my son and husband, so leggings were a no brainer for this holiday look. To dress up my leggings, I paired them with these black leather boots that have about a one inch heel. They go to just below the knee, have a cute buckle for show, and a zipper in the back. They are super functional and comfortable too. And If I do decide to do a little shopping after, I'm already dressed for the long night ahead of me. I've had these boots forever so I don't think they are sold in stores anymore, but it's not hard to find something similar at Target, Macy's, and even Nordstrom.

What is fall without a cozy sweater? This one is so adorable, it's the perfect cranberry color and it has a beautiful bell sleeve with a tie around the wrists. It's a very soft knit and I found it at TJMaxx, so it was super affordable too. I love that it is perfect for chilly weather, because here at home, sometimes it is a nice 60 degrees out but other times it's almost 30, so this sweater is perfect for both temperatures. I layers a gray tank under the sweater just because I wanted to match my bag from bebe, which I also found at TJMaxx, but that is completely optional and up to you. I just always feel naked if I don't have some kind of cami or tank layered under my shirts.

I am never one to wear a ton of jewelry, but I wanted to bring a little sparkle to the holidays. I found these gorgeous rose gold diamond drop earrings at Charming Charlie, and I'm obsessed, it's the perfect pair for thanksgiving.
